In a press release, HHS announced an extension for hospitals to submit required data needed to calculate how $10 billion will be distributed among areas of high impact from COVID-19. Originally the data was due yesterday, Thursday, April 23rd. The extended deadline for hospitals to submit this information is now 3:00 PM Eastern Time, Saturday, April 25.
Hospitals should have received emails from HHS on how to submit the necessary date, which includes:
- Taxpayer Identification Number,
- National Provider Identifier,
- number of ICU beds as of April 10, and
- number of COVID-19 admissions from January 1 to April 10.
